Arc Engineering was involved in the upgrading of the Mak Mandin Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant and the construction of a new sewer network for the Butterworth North catchment area. The project is part of Penang’s long-term plan to modernise and centralise its wastewater infrastructure.

Arc Engineering’s role included:

• Supporting multi-disciplinary engineering design (civil, mechanical, wastewater)
• Providing technical validation and ensuring design compliance
• Coordinating between contractors, authorities, and technical teams
• Overseeing integration of new sewer networks with existing systems
• Offering project management support through structured reporting and progress review

This project demonstrates Arc Engineering’s capabilities in large-scale Water & Wastewater infrastructure, particularly in projects requiring design support, technical coordination, and PMO-driven oversight.
